Blaen Bowi

is a site located on a beautiful part of the Welsh Landscape. The site currently is host for three  large Wind Turbines and more are proposed.

 

This site will try and provide as much information as possible for the local and National community.

 

Make no mistake, Wales is destined to be the dumping ground for this political empty gesture.

 

The Facts:

  • Wind energy is no more than politicians spin, trying to be seen as 'green'
  • Wind energy is not financially viable.
  • Wind energy will NOT provide you with lower energy bills.
  • Wind Turbines can cause ill health to people who live close by.
  • Read THIS report.
  • Other countries are dismantling Windfarms and admitting they are not viable

 

 

 

Local Impact:

  • If the politicians have their way they will destroy the landscape of Wales
  • The tourist industry will suffer significantly.
  • Many species of wildlife will vacate the area
  • Property prices & quality of life will be seriously affected.
  • Electricity bills are likely to rise.
